The JUNIOR CLASS officers eagerly await the total from their magazine sales. Left to Right: JIM SPAINHOUR, presidentg CY BRAME, vice presidentg MR. EVANS, advisorg CAROLYN MITCHELL, secretary, and ODELL WHITE, treasurer . Oh! I hope my ring fits! . . . Subscribe for a magazine, mam? . . . Don't tell our Jr.-Sr. theme. Hey! Watch that LADDER, it's gonna' fall! . . . What'll l do? Three boys want to sit by the same girl! . . . ln the last-minute rush it seemed as if the Jr.-Sr. would never become a reality, but finally, when it did come, Juniors realized that the hard work, fun and fellowship which they had shared in creating the Jr.-Sr. gave them a double pleasure and meaning for that night. A wide sprinkling of those prized possessions, letters in sports and band, witnessed to Juniors' active participation in extra-curricular activities. More scholarly students worked on essay contests or debate. Their reward was membership in the Green Key and serving as marshals. Ladies and gentlemen, as you well know, my candidate . . . Who do you think will get to be president of the student body? . . . Vote for . . . lt was election time again and the student body should choose from the Junior class their student council leaders. Juniors began to think of September when they would be the leaders and dignified Seniors at Cen- tral. Page Twenty Nine
