It all began with the invitation of Fre- donia State University, New York to play off the winner of a MacMaster-WLU basketball game in celebration of their centennial. About Q0 students participated in the dribbleathon, leaving from the T.A. and covering the 162 w is P-fxrw Rf'-w XR - vi miles to Fredonia on foot in 1615 hours, bas- ketball under hand. Kathy Burrows, WLU campus queen, dribbled the ball the first mile of the journey. The previous record, set by a California university, was 110 miles in 18 hours. BLUOD LETTING - Without Violence The annual blood donor clinic was again held in the ree room of Wo1nen's Residence. Because of the few benevolent souls who did turn up, approximately 250 bags of blood were yielded. It was below the quota. Perhaps the pickets will be on hand next year! W. M-..
