Greetings and best wishes to the members of the Graduating Class of 1968. A few years ago, when entering the University, a whole new world of books and professors and the you you loo life friends was opened for you. Upon graduation another world is opening where knowledge you have gained from your hooks, the truth and learning imparted to by your professors and the lasting friendships which you have made will stand in good stead. You are graduating at a time when Canada is completing its first years of Confederation. Who isn't a student? I, for one, know presidents are students in a real sense. During each day of university experience I learn from my associates, undergraduates, post-graduates, faculty members, staff and alumni. Like all of you, I appreciate opportunities to talk with others on campus in the academic and social setting. After each contact I carry something away that gives me new insights and understanding. The Waterloo Lutheran University is an unique one in educational and personal relationships. Life becomes more meaningful because of it. You establish life- time friendships with professors, staff and fellow students. Thank you for all you have contributed to my life. I extend congratulations as you join the thousands of men and won1en known as W.L.U. alumni. And best wishes to you as you go on to graduate studies, or enter business, industry or a profession.
