Looking toward the day when English will become the universal language, the English Department of Wiley paved the road to success with bricks of fluent communication. Students were encouraged to express themselves with one of man's greatest gifts, that of speech, and were seasoned with the thoughts and works of their fore- fathers, both American and foreign. The material covered by this very im- portant department ranged from the teachings of Socrates, Aristotle and Plato to the Theatre of the Absurd and Shakespearefs sonnets, all of which was presented in a most interesting fashion. Our Englzslz dept consisted of right to lah Mzss Jones FIRST ROW Mrs Blatr Mrs Donald, Mrs. 0'Rear, Mrs. Davis, Mrs. Adamson.
