Mrs. Adamson and Mrs. Chalos were a welcome sight to sophomores. Versatile Instruction Administered y School Counselors A distinct part of Wiley's faculty was involved in counseling students along with their academic duties. Some of these coun- selors werc Miss Chalos and Mr. Evrard for the sophomores, Mrs. Adamson and Mr. Halt for the juniors, and Mrs. Ahrens and Mr. Schroeder for the seniors. Miss Chalos was the coun- selor for college bound students and Mrs. Adamson for students interested in High School Institutes. Counselors had varied duties including iixing schedules, giving advice on what classes to take and helping them choose a career or a good college to prepare for the future. Mr. Evrarrl remains in his usual humorous mood even though he rests in his hospital room, afar an accident at his l'6S1ill'EIICl'.
