DRAMA CLUB Dramatics play an important part in any school and Wiley is no exception. The Drama Club this year held various types of programs for the benefit of the entire student body. Proceeds from these programs were used for the improvements made in the Little Thea- tre. Members of the club were often called upon to provide entertainment for Terre Haute clubs and social organizations. DEBATE CLUB The Wiley Debate Club was extremely active. Many speech trips and contests, which brought innumerable honors to VViley were included in their programs. Through this organization Wiley participated in the In- diana Student Legislature which meets bi- annually. 1

The club enter- tained the faculty for tea in honor of Nation- al Book XVeek in November. The buying of books for the library is the main project of the organization for which proceeds of the annual mixer were used. LIBRARY ASSISTANTS Library assistants are pupils who are interested in learning library proceedures. Besides taking attendance. their work in the library includes the filing. checking in and out and straightening of books. In order to do this, one student assists the librarian each hour throughout the day. at the noon hour and before and after school. Page Thirteen
