This book is one of the few material things that will link you with your high school. Keep it, cherish it, look at it often. Use it as a means of keeping in touch with your youth As you look through it, remember the good tirnes, the fine experiences, the wonderful people. Recall your hopes, de- sires and ambitions. You will soon be taking up the burdens of adulthood, but try to keep an open mind and a willing heart in each life endeavor. You know of whom I speak: Everyone must know, He is a man we all respect, None other than Coach Joe. We, the class of fifty-four, Do proudly dedicate This yearbook called The Wildcat's Lair To him whom we appreciate. Football! basketball! Baseball and all- He's made us champs every year: Look at our trophies in the hall. He's given us much good adviceg He's helped us when in need. Conquer first yourself, he said- A good motto indeed. This world is quite a big old place, But wherever you may go, Remember that you'll not find one Quite like our own Coach Joe.
