“Which one should I choose? This year a new tradition was begun at Wildwood Catholic- HOMECOMING. The Student Council planned the weekend of October 24th for the activities. Friday afternoon the soccer team battled Lower Cape May Region- al to a dynamic finish. Later that same evening, students gathered together at Montgomery Avenue and the beach for a bon fire where the 1986 Homecoming Court was first introduced. The court con- sisted of seniors Pat MacFarlane, Andy Weis, Dennis Leahy and Juniors Danny Leahy and Artie Cowan. On Saturday night, a semi-formal dance was held at St. Ann’s Hall. The highlight of the evening was the crowning of our homecoming king, Pat MacFarlane, escorted by Karyn Strawley. Our king and queen led the court in a spot light dance. The activities were a great success and the student body had a memora- ble weekend. We wish to thank Mr. Kubiak and the student council for dedicating their time and effort to this new W.C.H.S. tradition.
