Religion is the essence and end of Catholic education. At Wildwood Catholic, the four-year course in this study is both comprehensive and practical. Father Ryan and Father Kuhl, diocesan priests, teach religion daily in the junior and senior classes. Supplementing the religious instruction given in the classrooms are the Retreat Priests, the Vocation Week speaker, and the special guidance program extended by Sister Louise Bertrand. All of this is offered to the student in order to develop in him a healthy spiritual life. There is no dearth of good seed. God grant it falls upon good soil and bears fruit a hundredfold in the exemplary lives of Wildwood Catholic students and graduates. Marie Fala and Evelyn Paul pause momentarily under the beautiful crucifix at the Sixteenth and New Jersey Avenue entrance.
