After graduating he plans to work through the summer then join the armY- Affel' that hels going into Carpentry. ROBERT W. PAGE Machine Mauch Southington Robert enjoys the outdoors and likes to go hunting when he can. After he graduates he plans to join the service. i 1 n ll .. ARTHUR A. PIPER Tool 6. Die Art Meriden Art has many hobbies fishing, bowling, cars, ice skating, and girls, and in participating in sports at Wilcox he played one year of intramural volleyball, basketball, and footbal'. After graduating Art intends to join the Navy then work in his trade. LOUIS E. RUBINOWICZ Printing Louie Meriden Louie came to Wilcox from Lincoln Jr. High School as a sophmore and likes the Printing trade. He likes a girl but will not tell her name. He ,likes to work on cars. Played in- tramural basketball two years and was on the Yearbook com- mittee two years. Louie also was on a Dance committee. He plans to open his own Printing shop a few years after he graduates. 17

PAU L F. M I K Carpentry Meriden Paul was very active in school, he played varsity basket- ball three years and was captain his senior year. He also played intramural football, basketball, volleyball, ping - pong. and softball for three years. He was on the Student Council three years and acted as secretary, treasurer. and is Junior and Senior Representative of the Student Congress. ln his his senior year Paul also helped the dance committee to have one of Wilcox's biggest dances. He is undecided about what he will do after graduating. BRUCE J. MORELLO Electric Moose Meriden Bruce came to Wilcox as a sophomore and is leaving as a very good electrician. He likes all kinds of sports, and he played intramural football and basketball for three years. At present, Bruce has no definite plans for when he has left school. JOHN J. MONTI Electric Monty Meriden John is very much interested in music. He plays the drums and likes to read. After graduating he plans to cori- tinue in the Electric field. JOSEPH J. MOZDEN Machine Creep Wallingford Joe is a student in the Machine shop whose one hobby is guns. He was on the Student Council his last two years at Wilcox and was on the Yearbook Committee during his junior years. After Joe graduates in June he plans to go to Alaska. 16

RICHARD J. STASZEWSKI Mechanical Drafting Stew Meriden Richard likes to work on cars. He was on the Student Council two years and did a very good job. After graduating he plans to continue in the field of Drafting. l HOWARD P. SWOBODA Electric Howie Meriden Howie came to Wilcox as a freshman. He likes his trade and is doing well in it. ln hisspare time Howie likes to gc fishing. He is undecided on what he is going to 'lo after graduation. 1 THOMAS J. TENCZA Electric Nippy Meriden Tommy came to Wilcox as a sophmore from Jefferson Jr. High School. In his three years here he has been activ'e in Varsity Sports with three years of basketball and three years of baseball. He was also active in Wilcox's intramural sports playing one year of basketball, and two years of football. He served on the Student Council for two years and was its President in 57-58. He also served on the Student Patrol for two years. He was cn the yearbook committee for 58, and dance committee for 57-58. Tom's future plans are to enter Engineering or Electronics School next fall. Might even try to dodge the draft board! L Y. 1 BERNARD S. URYASE Tool Q, Die Bernie Meriden Bernie is a typical outdoor sportsman - he likes hunting, fishing' trapping, and boating. In school sports he played Varsity baseball 3 years and basketball 3 years. He won 4 major letters and 2 Jayvee letters. He played intramural oftball, basketball, football, ping - pong and volleyball. After graduating he plans to work at his trade, make money, and S get hitched.
