Mumford, won the Outstanding Wrestler award and the Most Improved award went to A. Yamamoto and R. Graham. K. Burton won the Most Pins award. The team had several exciting matches this year, especially against Los Altos and Buchser. With tour first-stringers out they still won the Buchser match 25-24. According to Coach Dunasky, they had a very good season. Here is Ed Austermuehle executing an excellent Qquote Mr. Dunaskyj guillotine on his opponent. Tom Bertram Kent Graham D Coach Jim Jacques Wrestling was an exciting sport this year, not only for the spectators, but for the Varsity Team itself. They ended the year with a 7-6 record and placed 5 boys in the league finals. Through the efforts of Coach Jacques, who has sent many wrestlers to victory, two of them, Tim Lape and John Hammond, placed at the Central State Finals, and also at the State Finals.
