Through such proiects as the Christmas caroling through local hospitals, several cultural lectures, and ct French Music Festival, club members were given the chance to gain a fluency with the language, while performing a service. With numerous members participating in the activities, the club made Christmas tray favors for hospitals and olcl-age homes. A Novice Wrestling match was sponsored to raise funds for the rest of the activities throughout the year. Through skills and technics learned in the various business courses, some members work as student secre- taries for teachers. Secretaries do grading, typing, and filing during their spare time. The year terminated with the annual picnic. S. Lovett, A. Holland, R. Sanchez, and P. Dowler worked on tray favors at Christmas time. 140
