Since this was the year of Mondrian, a mosaic appearance was strived for. This new appearance allowed the statt to use twice as many pictures as before. The newspaper staff had the task of again putting out a year's view of exciting events. lt was their responsibility to relay informa- tion concerning the various activities at Wilcox. Many hours of after school work, as well as the regular class period, went into the articles printed in the War Chant. This class not only helped the staff members by teaching them the art of expression, but it also obviously kept our student body aware of what was happening on campus.
