Junior Class Speaker . . Mr. Wayne Rodehorst ROM REIGN IN LAND OF OZ The Land of Oz was the theme for the junior- Senior Banquet held on May 17, l957. The banquet room was divided into four sections representing the four magical countries of Oz . The different colors of the countries were featured in each section. The famous poppy field and a life size Scarecrow were features found along the yellow brick path through the countries . The theme was carried out in the nut cups, programs, and place cards . The favors were miniature scarecrows . The climax of the evening was the trip to Emerald City. At this time the junior Class revealed their choice for Queen Ozma and the Wizard of Oz. Coleene Burge- son and Dennis Bergstrom were chosen from the Senior Class to reign over the festivities. Miss Sharron Jacobson is the sponsor of the junior Class this year.
