Only three starters from last year were on the team. They were Will Harvey, Mark Little, and Carl McNeese. Mark and Carl were the only ones who played the same position as last year. Three ot the other players had not played tor three years. Although the team was a young one they played with a lot of heart. Will Harvey led the way with the bats averaging .464 and Mark Little supported him with a .393. The problem was not in hitting the ball but in scoring once on base. The team finished the season with 7 wins and 8 losses. Will Harvey was chosen All-District and played in the All Star game. The players and the coach all agreed that throughout the ups and downs the year had been a l'learning experience. 124
