7ftc ccte Besides our class advisers, the Class of 1988 would like to pay special tribute to a faculty member who will always be re- membered by those lucky enough to pass her way. She is Mrs. Nancy Cable, that fun, energetic, and understanding mem- ber of the English department. When asked what made Mrs. Cable so special to them, her students had many varied responses. Senior Tasha Douglas put it this way, She's more like a mother to us than a teacher. She is always known to be compassionate, friendly, helpful, and full of life. Mrs. Cable's stu- dents claim that she goes above expec- tions in her dealings with them and has proved to be a friend in need (including funds, from time to time). On top of this is her unique style, her cute smile, and excellent taste in clothes. Mari Cardona described her as with it.
