Principal During your past four years in Wilby, I have grown to know you. You came to Wilby from many different walks of life. You have contributed to making our school community work. Wilby in turn has built the bridge necessary for you to cross to help make this community. The vehicle to cross this bridge lies within you-- knowledge, initiative, motivation, perseverance, and just plain hard work. The community will turn off no one if he or she knows where each is going. It has been a joy for me to have been as- sociated with you. I wish you well in your endeavors and hope you will have the success and happiness you so richly deserve. 10

Vice Principals Mr. Louis Mazzaferro Mr. Mazzaferro, Mr. Maz , as he is affectionately called by students, was bom and reared in Waterbury. His high school years were spent at Crosby which pre- pared him to enroll at Fairfield University. Four years later, he received his Bachelors Degree in English. Con- tinuing his thirst for knowledge, Mr. Maz was awarded his Masters Degree and a Sixth Year Degree in Secondary School Administration from the same institution that had nurtured his mind as an undergraduate student—Fair- field University. The Class of '76 wishes Mr. Mazzaferro the best of health and happiness in the years to come at Wilby High School. Mr. Philip Leonardi Mr. Leonardi is a native Waterburian having attended a public grammar school and later graduating from Sacred Heart High School. His Bachelor of Arts Degree was awarded to him at Providence College. The personal need to continue his education was evident after his ma- triculation at the University of Hartford where he re- ceived his Masters Degree. In 1966-67 he received a fellowship at the Univer- sity of Catalina with a major concentration in Italian. Presently, he is enrolled at the University of Connecti- cut for the Sixth Year Degree Program. The Class of '76 wishes Mr. Leonardi the best of luck and happiness in the years to come at Wilby High School. 10
