LOUIS PONZILLO Mr. Louis Ponzillo was born and reared in Waterbury, Connecticut. He graduated from Wilby High School and continued his education at the University of Connecticut in Storrs. He received his degree in History and Eng- lish from the School of Education. Presently, he is attending the University of Bridgeport in preparation for his Masters Degree. In addition to teaching Social Studies at Wilby, he teaches at DAYTOP INC., in the High School Equivalency Program and is a group leader in the Drug Seminar Course. In 1969, the Class of ’73 entered Wilby and so did Mr. Ponzillo. The relationship blossomed as the years passed and the rapport was such that his selection as the Junior Class Advisor was a natural one. PRINCIPAL During your past four years in Wilby, I have grown to know you, my first senior class. You came to Wilby from many different walks of life. You have contributed to making our school community work. Wilby in turn has built the bridge necessary lor you to cross to help make this community, state and nation even greater. The world will turn off no man if he knows where he is going. The vehicle to cross this bridge lies within you knowledge, initiative, motivation, perseverance, and just plain hard work. It has been a joy for me to have been associated with you. I wish you well in your endeavors and hope you will have the success you so richly deserve. 8
