DEDICATION As future years pass us by our thoughts will al- ways turn back to Wilby High School and the special person who played such an important part in the life of every student, Miss Crary. No matter how busy she may have been, she was always willing to help. During our senior year, she guided and advised us. Miss Crary had a way of understanding us, and always seemed concerned about our problems. We shall al- ways be grateful for her sincere interest in any phase of student activity. Miss Crary, born in Waterbury, graduated from the College of New Rochelle. Upon graduating from college, Miss Crary taught her first year as a substitute at Leavenworth High School. At the close of that school year Miss Crary transferred to Wilby and has been here ever since. Some of Miss Crary’s special interests are reading, gardening, cooking and listening to music. She enjoys walking in the country by herself. She has travelled to various parts of New England and to Canada. It is with a great deal of pride that we, the Class of 1959, choose to dedicate our issue of the Wilby Class- book to Miss Crary, our teacher and our friend. 4
