LILLY CORRINE BENGSTON Lil Alcott October 12, 1936 Lilly hails from Wolcott, with a fondness for ice skating, swimming, and base- ball, and a novel hobby of collecting salt and pepper shakers. Not so unusual is her choice of work, that of secretary. VIRGINIA LEE BERRY Ginny December 13,1936 Bunker Hill Coming to us from Crosby her junior year, Ginny is interested in collecting post cards and popular records. She also enjoys dancing, and is quite active in the Fellowship at her church. Her plan for the future is to be a secretary. BARBARA SUSAN BOSCO Babs August 14,1936 Notre Dame Glee Club 1,2,3, 4; Italian Club 4 Gay and likable, Barbara has won many friends at Wilby. A product of Notre Dame Academy, she loves music and dancing After graduation her ambition is to become a private secretary. RICHARD JOSEPH BOUCHER Dick January 24, 1936 St. Anns Basketball 2; Baseball 2, 3, 4 A member of Wilby's baseball team and a sports enthusiast is Dick. His humor and friendly smile have won him scores of friends here. He especially enjoys dancing and collecting jazz records. He has yet no definite plans for the future. IDA BOUFFARD March 30, 1935 St- Ann's Dance Club 1; Balance Sheet Rep. 3; Treasurer 4; Editor-in-Chief of Classbook Who has a personality as bright as a summer day? None other than Ida, whose pleasing disposition has won her a host of friends. She especially enjoys sewing, cooking, dancing, riding, and reading good books. Because of her outstanding ability, she was chosen as editor-in-chief of the classbook. Ida's main goal in life is to become a welfare or social worker.

His interest in these and in public speaking should help toward his future work as radio announcer. JOAN LILLIAN BALUNAS January 27,1936 Latin Club 2 A secretary at Mary Abbott Grammar School now, Joan plans to continue in this field after she graduates. Her main interest is church activities; her amuse- ments are swimming, ice skating, and badminton. ADELE AGNES BARBOZA November 18, 1936 Saint Mary’s Spanish Club 2 A sweet smile is characteristic of quiet Adele. Swimming and skating bring her much pleasure. She is following the pattern of many Wilby girls in choosing to become a secretary. ANTHONY MICHAEL BARONE Tony February 21,1936 Crosby Baseball 2, 3, 4; Football 4 Tony’s main interests lie in the sports field, in baseball and football, but he also enjoys skiing. He feels that he will never forget the many fine friends he has made at Wilby, not even after he has joined the Marines, which is his aim. ROBERT BEER Bob September 10,1936 Mary Abbott Football 4 A member of our football team, Bob is a real sports enthusiast, football, basket- ball, and baseball being his favorites. He has won the friendship of many Wilby- ites. His ambition is to be a certified public accountant. 12

RICHARD ROBERT BRILSKY Dick March 10, 1935 Alcott Bowling Club 3 Gentlemanly and somewhat shy, Dick came to us from grammar school in Wol- cott. He enjoys movies, music, and dancing, as well as following sports, es- pecially the Wilby State Basketball Champions of 1953. Dick wants to go into business as a commercial artist. ARLENE WINIFRED BROWN Lene January 3, 1936 Walsh Glee Club 1 Singing, cooking, taking care of children—these are the things Arlene likes. She should find enjoyment in her chosen field, nursing. RICHARD JAMES BROWN Dick November 27, 19.35 Sacred Heart High School D. E. Club 4 Someday in the center of town there may be in colored lights Dick's Res- taurant,” owned and managed by a good-natured and fun-loving fellow. Dick also has other interests, such as playing football and basketball and working on cars. Whatever field he chooses, we all wish him success. WALLACE LEE BROWN Wally December 11, 1935 Terryville High Football This football player claims that the greatest good he has gained from Wilby, besides education, is that of good sportsmanship. December 27, 1936 ANTHONY BUONAUTO Tony Russell Public Speaking Club 3; Football 4 Coming to us from Russell Grammar School, Tony has made many friends during his years at Wilby. He spends much of his time playing football, bas- ketball, and baseball. Tony plans to become a certified public accountant. 14
