Among her hobbies are skating and dancing. Her enthusiasm and socia- bility will surely carry her far in her future as a secretary. PATRICIA ANN HOGAN Pat” October 17,1934 Waterbury Catholic High Pat” is a likable lass who started her senior year at Wilby, and has since won many friends. When not roller skating she can be found dancing, swim- ming or collecting souvenirs. After graduation Pat” would like to enter the commercial field. JOSEPH EDWARD HORZEPA Joe August 3, 1934 Webster Activities: Room Leader. Joe, one of our few quiet senior boys, enjoys baseball most of all, his favorite team being the Red Sox. He also enjoys doing photographic work. Well, Joe, we hope something good develops for you in the future. KATHERINE ANN HOWRIGAN Kathy” June 30, 1934 Driggs Activities: Secretarial, Glee, and Dance Clubs. Kathy,” a quiet and charming senior with a refreshing smile has many outside hobbies, such as skating, swimming, and bowling. Her first ambition though, is to become a secretary. Well Kathy,” with a pleasing manner such as yours, you are bound to succeed. ELEANOR MARY HRYNIEWICKI El December 18,1933 St. Thomas Activities: Glee, Dance, and Distributors’ Clubs. El’s” sweet, good-natured smile is enough to convince anyone she is a likeable and freindly girl. As a hobby, she gets pleasure from playing or watching basketball, dancing, and listening to popular music. Helen” is undecided as to her future, but she will be a success in whatever she does. FRANCES MARIE HALEY Frankie July 21, 1934 Merriman Activities: Secretarial Club, Glee Club, Dance Club. Frankie has a hearty laugh, ready at all times to cheer us up. She enjoys tennis, swimming, and bowling. After graduation, Frankie” would like to join the Waves, and our best wishes go with her. CARL HARDT, Jr. July 18, 1932 Crosby High Activities: Wilby Key Club, Accounting Club Treasurer. Carl, one of the most versatile members of our class, enjoys dancing and watching baseball games. He is not sure just what he intends to do in later years but we know he will do well whatever he undertakes. BARBARA PATRICIA HAYES Bobby February 23, 1933 Saint Margaret Activities: Swimming Club, Secretarial Club. The sweet smile on Bobby's face is evidence of her many charms. Skating, swimming, and collecting classical records take up much of her spare time. As yet her vocation is undecided, but we all wish her loads of luck in whatever she finally undertakes. 28

Dance Club, Biology Club, French Club, Bowling Team. Mary is synonymous with laughter, humor, and cheer. She is active in basketball and bowling mainly, but enjoys other sports, too. Wilby will lose a lovely senior after Lucille’s graduation. Her main plans revolve in the matrimonial circle. Peggy's” cheerftd smile is enough to convince anyone that she is a likeable and friendly girl. Sewing, knitting, swimming, and tennis are some of her favorite pastimes. She has been quite an active member of the Baalnce Sheet staff. KUNSAITIS Toni January 3, 1934 St. Joseph’s Activities: Secretarial Club. One of our loveliest seniors, Toni’s” quiet but lovable manner has won her many friends at Wilby. Her outside interests are swimming, dancing, knit- ting, and reading. ’’Toni's goal is to be a success in the secretarial field, and we know that her cheerful disposition will be a great asset in attaining her wish. 30
