MILDRED ELAINE GRIMES Millie” October 6, 1933 St. Thomas Activities: Secretarial Club Millie” is the kind of person who is rarely seen frowning. She is well-known for her cheery smile and has a friendly word for everyone. Millie’s” plans for the future are still a bit hazy, but we all know that she will go far, aided by her fine personality. STELLA T. GRZYBOSKI July 20, 1933 Walsh Activities: Secretarial Club, Ways and Means Committee Stella’s beautiful brown eyes are one of her many assets. She is interested in horse- back riding, tennis, and reading. Her ambition is to be a private secretary. All of us here at Wilby wish her lots of luck. ANTHONY GUARINO Tony” December 7, 1931 Duggan Activities: 1948, 1949, and 1950 Baseball Teams, 1948, 1950 Football Teams, 1948, 1949 Basketball Teams, Glee Club Tony is strictly sports. He has been an active member of all sports in his few years at Wilby. Tony is also interested in fishing, bowling, music, and coin collecting. His ambition is to be a professional baseball player and we know he will make out good. LUCILLE MARIA GUARINO Red” June 21, 1933 Walsh Activities: Balance Sheet, Italian Club, Secretarial Club, Dance Club A happy-go-lucky person is Red. Reading and dancing are her main interests which take up most of her time. Red” plans to become a secretary after graduation, and we are sure she will brighten up any office. AGNES ARMANDE GUERTIN Aggie” February 11, 1933 St. Ann’s Activities: Balance Sheet, Secretarial Club Aggie” is the quiet, but well-liked girl in 111. Although little in size, she has a big list of activities including bowling, dancing and roller-skating. After graduation Aggie” would like to become a stenographer. 28

ALMA LYNN GOODISON Goodie” July 18, 1933 Driggs Activities: Girls’ Basketball Team, Secretarial and Dance Clubs Goodie,” one of Wilby’s assets, is blonde, cheerful, and pleasant. Playing the piano, roller-skating, and baseball are her favorite interests. Her ambition to become a hair- dresser, we know will be successfully achieved by Goodie.” ADY HERMAN GRANDMAISON Herman” July 4, 1932 St. Ann’s A quiet, conscientious boy is one way of describing Herman.” He devotes all his leisure time to baseball, football, and ice skating. Herman” hopes to hold the position of Business Manager of a large firm in the future. Because of his studious disposition, we know he will succeed. JOAN D. GREATOREX June 9, 1933 Sprague Activities: Secretarial Club With her sweet smile and genial personality, Joan has made friends at Wilby. Joan is interested in swimming and winter sports. Lots of luck to Joan in the future! RICHARD JAMES GREEN Dick” March 21, 1933 Riviera Junior High Activities: Camera and Dance Clubs, Public Speaking-Program Committee, Key Club President, Chairman of Organizing Committee, Class Book Committee Dick,” as he is better known to his friends, came to us from Palm Beach, Florida. His greatest ambition is to become a lecturer. Because of his excellent record in Public Speaking, we are sure he will succeed. 27

Among her special interests are bowling, swimming, and collecting pictures. Mary wishes to become a medical secretary and we all wish her luck in that field. GLORIA M. GURSKY Glow” September 12, 1933 Duggan Activities: Secretarial Club Glow” devotes her spare time to dancing, bowling, and reading. She hopes to be a private secretary some day, and we feel her ability and cheerful manner will grace any office. JAMES FRANCIS HAYES Jimmy” May 12, 1933 St. Mary’s Activities: Key Club Project Chairman, Public Speaking Treasurer, Junior Prom Committee, Camera, Dance, Glee Clubs, La Voz Prophet, philosopher, psychologist, and natural humorist— Jimmy” captured the hearts of the class with his genuine sincerity and humor. We will never forget the stories of his experiences in California. Not only is he interested in the Yankees and Joe DiMaggio, but he is proud of his collie show-dogs. Jimmy’s” ambition is to become a veterinarian. JUDITH ANN HENNINGS Judy” September 1, 1933 St. Dominic’s School Activities: Junior Room Leader Judy's” cherry smile and friendliness have won the hearts of her many friends. Swimming, her main activity, takes up most of her spare time. Her future plans are to become an Interior Decorator. Anyone with as much determination as Judy”, is bound to succeed. EMMA MARTHA HOZUBIN Em” March 17, 1932 Humston-Cheshire Activities: Dance Club Em” is strictly an outdoor girl who likes to swim, skate, ski, ride horse back, and many more. Em’s” ambition is to become a private secretary.
