Bill” likes to putter around cars. He enjoys this so much that he wishes to make it his career. We wish you luck, Bill.” ERAINE LORETTA GENEST E” August 3, 1933 Prospect Community School Activties: Music Club, Secretarial Club, Class Book Committee E’s” friendly smile and pleasant manner have won her many friends here in Wilby. Fond of sports, she likes swimming, tennis, and bowling. She also likes to sing, dance, collect shells, and listen to music. After graduation, Elaine hopes to become a telephone operator. MARY A. GENUA January 20, 1934 Webster Activities: Italian Club You can always be sure of a pleasant hello” from Mary. Her ready smile has won her many friends. Bowling, baseball, and roller-skating are among her favorite pastimes. We wish her the best of luck in her future work. HELEN J. GILBERT November 23, 1933 Barnard Activities: Secretarial Club, Class Book Committee Helen’s principal interests are roller-skating, bowling, basketball, and Shorthand I. Here’s wishing Helen lots of luck in whatever field she chooses to specialize in. PATRICIA ANN GILMORE Pat” June 23, 1933 St. Mary’s Activities: Glee Club, Balance Sheet, Dance Club, Spanish Club, Art Staff of La Voz, Chemistry Club Sweet and lovely is Pat,” whose good nature and friendly smile have become well- known at Wilby. Her favorite pastimes are roller-skating, tennis, dancing, swimming and collecting photographs of her friends. Next year Pat will take her pleasing personality with her to a store as a buyer. 26

HELEN A. GABRIELE July 6, 1933 Walsh Activities: Italian Club Helen is a friendly girl. She is doing office work at present, but finds time to dance and ski. Helen plans to continue doing office work in the future. SHIRLEY E. GAGNAN Shirl” July 9, 1933 St. Ann’s Activities: Secretarial Club, Class Book Committee Shirl” is rather on the quiet type, but has won many friends at Wilby. Her favorite recreations are dancing, skating, and drawing. Shirl plans to be a good secretary or develop her ability in art. Whichever you choose, we wish you all the success any one person can achieve, Shirley. JOAN ANN GALLO Jo” November 17, 1932 SS. Peter and Paul Activities: Spanish Club, Secretarial Club Jo” a fun-loving girl, is a lover of all sports, with swimming at the top of the list. Collecting coins is another of her diversions. Jo” has high hopes of becoming an in- structor in Physical Education. PHYLLIS C. GALULLO June 22, 1933 Duggan Activities: Dance Club, Secretarial Club Phyllis is a cheerful girl with a pleasing manner that has won her many friends at Wilby. She loves all winter sports plus bowling, swimming, and music. Although she hasn't any definite plan for the future, we are sure she will find a career in which she can ge successful. AURORA CARMELA GAROFALO Junior” June 3, 1932 Maloney Junior” is interested in all kinds of sports. Her pet ambition is to be a hair dresser, a calling in which we feel sure she will be a success. ALMA LYNN GOODISON Goodie” July 18, 1933 Driggs Activities: Girls’ Basketball Team, Secretarial and Dance Clubs Goodie,” one of Wilby’s assets, is blonde, cheerful, and pleasant. Playing the piano, roller-skating, and baseball are her favorite interests. Her ambition to become a hair- dresser, we know will be successfully achieved by Goodie.” ADY HERMAN GRANDMAISON Herman” July 4, 1932 St. Ann’s A quiet, conscientious boy is one way of describing Herman.” He devotes all his leisure time to baseball, football, and ice skating. Herman” hopes to hold the position of Business Manager of a large firm in the future. Because of his studious disposition, we know he will succeed. JOAN D. GREATOREX June 9, 1933 Sprague Activities: Secretarial Club With her sweet smile and genial personality, Joan has made friends at Wilby. Joan is interested in swimming and winter sports. RICHARD JAMES GREEN Dick” March 21, 1933 Riviera Junior High Activities: Camera and Dance Clubs, Public Speaking-Program Committee, Key Club President, Chairman of Organizing Committee, Class Book Committee Dick,” as he is better known to his friends, came to us from Palm Beach, Florida. His greatest ambition is to become a lecturer. Because of his excellent record in Public Speaking, we are sure he will succeed. 27
