ERCOLI Erky December 28, 1932 Crosby Activities: Chemistry and Dance Clubs, Treasurer of Public Speaking Club II Not an enormous person—but look at Napoleon. Although small in stature, he has a big personality. He is a clever, genial, aggreeable fellow, the kind of student one likes to know. Erky” has no definite ambition, but feels he is destined to do great things. He is one of our history sharks. Midgie” has made many friends during her four years at Wilby. With that sweet smile and happy disposition, it's no wonder. Her interests arc varied, among them being music, eating, and dancing. We all believe Midgie” can not help but succeed in secre- tarial work. JOAN PATRICIA FARRELL July 21, 1933 Webster Activities: Secretarial Club, Student Council Though she is far from quiet, we find Joan a most popular figure in the halls of Wilby. Her favorite sports include swimming and ice skating. We are confident that she will one day attain her goal as a successful private secretary. ANGELA C. DeStefano Angie” August 1, 1932 Walsh Activities: Secretarial Club Angie a witty young miss, is one of those people who have no intention of staying home in our fair city. She plans to travel when her ship comes in. Definitely! Angie’s hobbies are dancing and baking. We hope she’ll get her wish about seeing the world. EMILY MARY EGAN Kitten” September 13, 1933 St. Francis Xavier Activities: Spanish Club, Program Committee Chairman, Chemistry, Secretarial and Dance Club, Class Book Committee Cute and vivacious well describe this popular little red head. Always ready with a smile or even an outburst of laughter at a funny joke or story, Kitten”, as she is called by that extra special someone in her life, has no definite plans for the future, but she knows she would like to travel. MARILYN IVA DILGER September 16, 1932 Walsh Activities: Secretarial, Dance, Camera Club, Girls’ Basketball Team Marilyn came to Wilby at the beginning of her freshman year and since that time has made many new friends. She is the type of girl who seems always to be in a good mood. Marilyn has many interest, among which are Dancing, going to the movies, and all types of sports. Her ambition is to become a secretary and with a personality such as hers, she can’t miss. MARLENE JOAN DIETSCH Mar” March 31, 1933 Walsh Activities: Secretarial Club Although Mar” is quiet, there is always that ready smile and mischievous twinkle in her eye. Sports and dancing are her main interests. Someone, we know, will be mighty lucky to have Mar as a secretary. LUCY MARY DI LEA Lou” November 10, 1933 Hopeville Activities: Secretarial, Dance Clubs Lou” with her bright smile and happy nature, is always ready for fun. She has a friendly personality that makes her well-liked by all. Her chief interests are dancing, swimming, and all sports. NANCY RUTH FAVARA Shorty” August 15, 1932 Hillhouse High Activities: Assistant News Editor Las Voz Shorty” came to us from New Haven in her senior year, and has made many Wilby friends in that short time. Topping her list of interests are music, plays, and collecting earrings. As yet, she is undecided about her future career. DEMARITA ANN PERRARO Dem” August 28, 1932 Webster Activities: Secretarial Club Dem” is one of our shy, but comely students. Because of her sunny disposition and good-natured ways, we know that she will add grace, as well as skill, to any office. Best wishes, Dem.” JOHN JOSEPH PLYNN Jack” January 16, 1932 SS. Peter and Paul Activities: Public Speaking Club Jack , an ardent supporter of the Boston Red Sox, also likes to play baseball himself. Among his many other interests are playing basketball, traveling, and studying and help- ing other people. In his unusual choice of a career as a glazier, we wish him every success. JUNE ANTOINETTE FOUST January 16, 1934 Driggs Activities: Basketball, Secretarial Club, President of Second Year Spanish Club June’s singing, sparkling wit, and gay laugh have brightened many hours in Wilby. Her favorite pastimes are knitting, sewing, and painting. As yet, her vocation is un- decided, but we all wish her loads of luck in whatever she finally undertakes. ANN RITA FRUIN July 14, 1933 Hopeville Activities: Dance and Secretarial Clubs, Class Book Committee Ann, a well-liked senior, is also one of our neatest and wittiest girls. She has that cheerful outlook and gift of gab” that make one so welcome in a crowd. She has many interests, among which are eating, sleeping, dancing, and all sports.
