 COME ON DOWN Mr. Adams shows the new car that he won last summer on “THE PRICE IS RIGHT.” Little did the Adams family dream when they headed for a California va- cation that Mr. Adams would be one of the nine contestants chosen from a field of 300 hopefuls to be a contes- tant. The closest bid to the actual price of a hall mirror got him on stage. To win the car, he had to take three num- bers and put them in order according to the price of a set of luggage. When he set the dial on 6-2-8, the door opened making him the winner of a blue Ford Escort. When they went to pick up their car in Oklahoma City, they changed to the Red Ford Tempo that you see Mrs. Adams driving around town. She allowed him to bring the car to school long enough for us to get this picture! Those who saw the program on TV reported that Mr. Adams was very composed, but he has admitted to a lot of stomach churning during his tele- vision debut. Mrs. Scharff converses with Mrs. Ells- Coach Butler called this the Tom Selleck look, but we know better. Don’t we? worth on Parent-Teacher Conference Day.

Judy Hollmgback. Velma Evridge. Mary Beagle. Julie Har- den. Kaye Durant. Gail Saxon, and Len- ora Forwoodson took a break from the preparation of the day's meals. CUSTODIANS Thomas Anderson. Wayne Scott. Jim Bell. Laura Waugh. John Weidner. John Pemberton, and Hershel McKee were found on one of the few oc- casions when they were all in one loca- tion. BUS DRIVERS John Wiedner. Gene Ward. Lionel Young. Sam Taylor. Al Har- ley. Ron Clark, and Eugene Taylor met on the first day of school to plan for our transportation needs.
