Grades 1-3 gave a beautiful and exciting por- trayal of American history for their April 11 program. Depicting outstanding people and events from the time of Christopher Colum- bus to 1985, they delighted the standing- room-only crowd with their costumes and ac- tivities. Tribute was paid to two retiring ele- mentary teachers, Mrs. Russell and Mrs. So- kolosky.

Sixth Grade Presents Musical The band students began the evening of music with instrumental selections. From the time that Announcer Tiffany Jeffrey introduced the program until the Choir sang Anyone Can Be A Hero for the finale, a parade of sixth graders shared stories of American heroes and some of the tall tales of our heritage. Angie Dunham appeared as Calamity Jane to add her tales to the entertaining musical.
