Activities and events presented here do not appear in any other educational record, making the yearbook a valuable information source. Throughout the pages of this book, the yearbook staff has shown the individuality of each person or group, bringing back thoughts of friends, organizations, and activities of each individual in his high school years. Staff members placed finishing touches on their individual assignments, which included copywriting, photography and layout. Foy Ledbetter, Advisor, has directed members of the staff and stressed those inevita- ble deadlines. American Yearbook Company, Topeka, Kansas, has published the Digger for the fifth year and provided suggestions for its content and arrangement. Robert Stanfield, Photography Editor, Vicki Puckett, Business Manager and Secretary, Virginia Nelson, Copy Editor, and Robert Fazekas, Editor, have worked many hours to meet each deadline required to publish the yearbook. The objective of the book has been to present the prob- lem facing high school students--recognizing world problems and understanding of self and of the world. 78 ipr ''-gr%2.- $
