To the boys who worked hard to defend our school's honor and name, we wish to say we are proud of you. The lessons learned on the football fields are carried over into good citizenship of many who have gone out from W. H. S. into adult life or into the various colleges. Continue to Fight, Fight, Fight, for honesty and fair play in the game of life. i f P.J. SMITH B. S., S.E.S.C. M. S. f O. A M C. Principal MILLIE BRADLEY B. S., S. E.S.C. M. A., O. A. M. C. It Is a game In which courage and stamina Is put to a severe test. Those found wanting In either are soon eliminated. Modern football requires a rather high degree of Intelligence on the part of the player. In my opinion, football contributes more toward the develop- ment of co-operation, team work, and leader- ship than most any other sport. It has been our good fortune this year to have an outstanding football team of which we are all very proud. I Join with the facu- lty, annual staff, student body, parents, and friends of these fine boys. In dedicating our yearbook to their outstanding performances. May you always put forth your best efforts In everything you attempt that la worthwhile. Raymond E.
