We wish to show our love and appreciation to these boys by dedicating this yearbook to them. The measure of life is not its duration, but its donation. Let us strive, through the deep sense of o u r loss, to remember our greater gain in the privi lege of having known and loved them. BOARD OF EDUCATION AND SUPERINTENDENT Our great love and admiration for Bill and Thomas is shown by the dedication of this book of memories to them. Memo- ries of them will linger in our hearts forever, but we hope that our loss was heaven's gain. We are made to wonder sometimes why such fine young men have to leave sc early in life, then we re- member in the scripture that God giveth and God taketh away. Since we never know when this hour is coming, we should be ever mindful of the need to be prepared for the journey from this life to the next at all times so we won't be found unprepared when it comes. I wish to leave with their parents this message, They are gone from us, but not for- gotten. I am greatful for the opportunity to have a small part in showing our love for Bill and Thomas and also thankful that I am associated with such a fine group of Students, Personnel and Patrons as found in the Wilburton School District.
