Music Department lnspires Student Involvement The four major instrumental music groups are Concert Band, Orchestra, Stage Band, and String Ensemble. Mr. Wolff hopes to have each student achieve a certain satisfaction in playing music and gain a knowledge of music. These groups appeared at the M. E. N. C. music festival, at the county music festival, at the All Jazz festival, and at the trad- itional May Day Parade. Wilbur students rocked out at their Pops concert in the spring: a concert which included swinging versions of Night and Day and HAIR. Mrs. Fujikawa directed vocal music groups in the Winter Concert and the Spring Sing in May which was called An Evening With Richard Rogers.
