Mrs. Linda Wood Health Occupations Education Miss Cindy Middleton Distributive Education John Swint Coordinated Career Education Program Mrs. Mary Brown Coordinated Career Education Program CCE is a program that teaches students a vocation and helps them find jobs. Students with jobs work half a day. Mrs. M. Brown is the sponsor. There are 30 students in this program. Distributive Education students come to school half a day, work in the DE lab, and take only the required subjects. They then work the rest of the day at various jobs. This program allows stu- dents to acquire high school diplomas and work at necessary or desired occupations at the same time. cce students Take defensive driving course

There are 28 students in this program work- ing in doctors' offices, the Arkan- sas Nursing Home, and other health oriented positions in Little Rock. -I1 , 4 Mr. Swint helps CCE students locate Iobs. 7 1 books and learning go Together The library is based on the concept of being a place where learning occurs, rather than one in which learning materials are stored. Effective use of the li- brary has its beginning in an appreciation and understanding of books and of their importance in one's academic and personal life. We are lucky at Mills to have available many materials in a variety of formats to give stuf dents and teachers the opportuni- ty to select from among many re- sources the media best suited to answer their specific needs.
