H v Family Living home economics provides creative careers Modeling, designing, cooking, and sewing, along with other creative occupations, are all de- veloped in Home Economies. These are skills requiring both knowledge and hard work. Stu- dents enjoy a diversity of aetivif ties, from serving at banquets to having a get-together at Casa Bozzitr1.The value of life and its responsibilities are stressed in Family Living. The Mills department was brightened by new equipment, such as silverware, dishes and portable mixers. Miss Martin commented on the enjoyment the girls experienced using the two new reference books: Homes: To- day mul Tomorrow by Sherwood and Cloflzesz Part of Your lVorlrl by Vanderhoff.
