The Mills Comets gained their first win with a 7-O score over Subiaco. Both teams battled without scor- ing for almost 3X4 of the game until Iohn Davie blocked a Subiaco punt. This gave Randy Hickox the opportunity to score. Mills, second win was over the Sheridan Yellowjaclicts. Sheridan led the game at the half with a score or 70. Then in the third quarter, after a 65 yard drive, lack Lemmons scored and Fletcher Harrison made the PAT. Sheridan scored again in the last quarter but fail' ed to make their PAT. With the score 13-7, QB Donald Cross threw a pass to Tommy Detherage but it was deflected into the arms of Bobby McDonald who ran to the end zone.
