Mrs. Earle couldn't find her red purse? Bill Conklin teased the girls by rolling his eyes? Armen made his annual flying leap out of his wheelchair to play marbles on the floor? Mrs. Norbury's wolfhound had twelve pups? all the girls swooned over Frank as Sergeant-at-Arms? the floors were very slippery and everyone was afraid of falling? one of the bathroom doors wasn't wide enough for wheelchairs? Danny was swooning over Diana and showed his affection by con- stantly fighting with her? Mrs. Smith changed her name to Mrs. Phillips? Joe had a conniption fit about a few items in the Hi-Lites? Gary Watson nicknamed Georgia NDark Eyesn? how Helen stamped her feet when she was mad? the Senior English class suddenly found themselves back in the seventeenth century? They were all arguing with Mrs. Norbury that the word nmischievousn was Hmischieviousu and not umischievous.n Finally the dictionary settled the argument by stating that their form of the word had not been used since 1700! we celebrated the HBon Voyagen party for the graduating Seniors? 61

FRIENDS OF VALLEY BRANCH STUDENTS From the days when Valley Branch was a gleam in the eyes of our parents, they have been first on the list of our friends. Then came Mr. John G. Fox, Principal, and School. They have never missed assistance and courtesies to us Gifts which have made good the Personnel of North Hollywood High an opportunity to extend continuous all. times and better educational opportun- ities have come from various Parent-Teacher groups in the Valley. Our radio, which blares at noong our splendid three-speed record player which enlivens our music classesg our semi-annual birthday partiesg our extra apparatus for physical or occupational therapy---these are on the long list from the following P.T.A. groups: Carpenter Avenue and John T.
