Mr. Bruce comes to the presidency with on unusuol boclsground in odministrotion ond educotion expere ience. He completed his moster's degree in educotionol psychology ot Boston Stote College. Then on o Ful- bright gront, he spent the next yeor studying or the University of Monchester, Englond ond lecturing ot severol colleges. Returning in 1965 to Cobley College in Moine, his olmo moter, he wos o development officer, student odvisor, coordinotor for freshmen orientotion, ond teocher of British history. Then in 1969 he joined the odministrotion of Bord College, ond four yeors loter wos nomed octing president ond recipient of the Distinguished Service oword, Over the yeors his octiviries hove included the Americon Association for Higher Educotion, Notionol Associotion of College ond University Business officers, ond the Eostern Associotion of College ond University Business Officers.
