College is far more than term papers, final exams, dances and other activities. It represents four important years in the formation of our basic beliefs, principles and direction in life. Therefore. thc Class of 1965 gratvflllly cicclicates this yearis edition of the Sabre Kc Sash to those who have made this experience possible - our Parents. Without their Hnancial, and moral help, their many personal sacrifices and pvrsevering encouragenu-nl, these four years would not have come to pass. I2 PRESIDE TIAL MESSAGE Dear Senior: A college is a collection of people - individuals dedicated to purposeful learning, to the search for truth, and the creation of new knowledge. Its student body, its faculty, and its alumni are its strength. Each institution has its own individual- ity, just as you do as a person. PlVlC's is the sum total of all the personalities that have contributed - and continue to contribute -- to its development and its educational climate - yours and mine. Four brief years ago, I was privileged to welcome you to the PIVIC campus. Hardly anyone could then have envisioned the extent to which PMC was - and will continue - to influence your life and your ambitions. Now I am about to grasp your hand as I give you your diploma and wish you well as you move forward into graduate school or go directly into a career. As you 'leave campus living to go forth into the world, I know that you will forever cherish your college experiences and as- sociations and that PMC will grow ever more mean- ingful to you in your years as an alumnus. Your Alma Mater is always interested in your welfare. Sincerely yours, ,wwf-U Clarence R. This year's football game in Atlantic City saw P.M.C.'s football team live up to all their promises - that of playing an entire season of ball in 60 short minutes. Some of the most spectacular football ever seen by the Corps of Cadets left little to be desired by everyone who saw the game. Credit for this goes not only to a great team, but to their Coach, who led them on in a valiant effort. RED KNIGHTS OE THE DELAWARE 1964-6 100 1 The 1964 Football Season was not against op- posing teams only, but against the clock as well. On paper, a 44 and 5 season looks mediocre, but those who saw the games will attest that the scores definitely do not tell the entire story. A loss to Muhlenberg in the last 42 seconds, FSIM winning in the last minute and the big heartbreaker at Atlantic Cityg saw PMC ready to score, and win, in each instance. The team not only played sixty minutes of fine ball in each and every game, but they were led by an excellent staff headed by our new coach, Art Raimo. With the determination and talent returning next year and continued coaching of the fine caliber of this past season, PMC should have one of their best seasons in 1965. P.M.C. 24 W.
