The Key Club Listens And Hop es For The Best THE KEY CLUB is a service organization that helps the school and community and is sponsored by the Kiwanis Club. The first project was a bundle drive, and the members collected clothing for the Salvation Army. The club has helped the school by collecting tickets at football and basketball games and by donating ten chess sets to the Chess Club. The major projects of the club were collect¬ ing pennies for UNICEF, sponsoring a driver ' s safety assembly, collecting twenty pounds of Kool-Aid, Lifesavers, and chewing gum for soldiers in Vietnam, working at Deer ' s Head Hospital, putting on a Lock Your Car campaign, and holding a car wash. Christmas was a busy season. The members manned the Salva¬ tion Army kettles in the Mall, the Plaza, and at Ames.
