r University Band provides entertoinment, sponsors bond doy The University ot Wichita Football Band is one ot the tinest in the nation. lt provided halt-time entertainment at each WU tootball game. This group sponsors Band Day with titty high school bands participating and a marching clinic which is held in the summer. It appeared twice on KARD-TV and presented a Christmas program. Second semester the concert band and the symphonic band were tormed trom the band and each gave an outdoor concert and ap- peared in the Fine Arts Festival.
