Dedication x , i ,T . 3 2 i 1 ,ff Q A2 ' ,NN 'W-My .Rm , ,MW .... A, Dr. Worth A. Fletcher This is the thirty-sixth year ot service to the University ot Wichita by Dr. Worth A. Fletcher, Registrar. This man, at some time or another, comes in contact with all students. His devotion to his work has brought him the respect ot everyone concerned. ln his ottice, the complex workings ot this University abound, trom class schedules and enroll- ment to graduation certiticates. As a chemistry teacher when he started, Dr. Fletcher's lite has evolved around Wichita. l-lis wite taught here when they met and their only daughter was graduated here. l-lis degrees were acquired at indiana University and his teach- ing work in chemistry still continues. His civic activities in- clude the Downtown Kiwanis and many years as sponsor to Alpha Gamma Gamma. This traternity is now Beta Theta Pi ot which Dr. Fletcher is the tirst initiated member. Parnassus as a word is derived trom Greek mythology and reters to the mountain ot knowledge. This one man has certainly done his share in making the intellectual goals ot this institution a reality. ln light ot his personal concern tor the academic community in general and tor the student individually, we dedicate this volume to the devoted Dr. Worth A. Fletcher. 'NN
