But underneath this eagerness, all of us are just a little afraid of the future and what it holds for us. It just won ' t be the same. We won ' t see the kids so often. Many of them we will never see on this earth again. Never again can we cut class and know that things will go on without us. from here on out we ' re on our own. Our lives will be just what we make them. Rut no matter what is going to happen, the class of 1943 started out on the right track when it entered the University of Wichita and it will continue to go on the right track — each of us to do our part in the war effort and to — victory.
