Feed th Animals A Slice of Life The growls can be heard from the back of the room. Ferocious appetites are waiting to be released. If only time would hurry. The bell finally rings, and it's get out of the way. The animals crash down the stairs to feed. For 30 minutes, they leave classes and troubles behind. Lunch also provides a chance to es- cape from the routine and a chance to catch up on what's going on by milling around in the halls and student centers. The vending machines provide soft drinks and various types of chips and candies. I like the communication among all the people during lunch, Junior Kelly Taylor said. lt's quickf' Leanne Dickey, fresh- man, said. After 30 minutes of frenzied feeding, the animals are returned to captivity contented until school's out. Decisions, Decisions. Michelle Bunch and Robyn Baker have a hard time making up their minds. Devon Butler glues directions to Brad Burchjeld while Frank Miller ignores them both.
