Commercial To prepare the youth of today for meeting the competitive world of business, WFHS offers various commercial courses to interested students. For work as secretary, bookkeeper, or receptionist, students are offered courses in typing, bookkeeping, shorthand, and office practice. For a general knowledge in business and the managing of finances, economics and commercial law are offered. Mechanical drawing and shop provide a basic training for careers in engineering, architecture, and drafting. Since the demand for highly trained personnel is greater today than ever before, the youth of WFHS have a deep feeling of gratitude for the teachers who have devoted their lives to com- Etercial education that the Coyotes may also be on the winning team in the competitive world of usiness. MRS. T. RICHARD MOSS, M.A. Columbia Univerlity Speech Adeptness in self-expression is an art that enables one to increase his con- fidence and to proiect his ideas clearly and forcefully. The WFHS Department of Speech, through its diversified and com- prehensive program, seeks to reach all the students in our school. One major facet in our speech program is the Na- tional Forensic League, composed of ad- vanced students in debate, extemporane- ous speaking, original oratory, and prose poetry reading. The National Thespian Society is composed of those students in- terested in drama. These students first become members of Amateur Guild and then advance to the Thespians.
