In a like manner does the knowledge of the English language grow with the student as he advances through the Department of English in Wichita Falls Senior High School. The student earns a lasting working knowledge from a well-organized combination of literature and grammar. Through the literature courses, the students become familiar with the great authors, types of literature, provocative ideas, and another concept of the history of civilization. Through the study of grammar, every student can develop conciseness and accuracy of expression.
