744: Haque ' ' 'That Coyote Spirit is something that cannot be explained in a few words or sentences. It can develop for every person who attends Wichita Falls Senior High a deep loyalty and respect for his school. A visitor to the building may he amazed at the air of excitement in the halls, cafeteria and classrooms and overwhelmed hy the enthusiasm displayed at a pep rally. However, this invisible force, symbolized by the Coyote, is broad in its scope. lt permeates every organization and activity in our school. It enters the classroom where the teacheris careful guidance encourages each student to apply himself' and to prepare for a good future. And cer- tainly this spirit reigns confidently in all athletic events. lt is present in the awed hush when the morning devotion is heard or in the assemblies when fine music rings in the air or a speaker directs attention to serious matters of moral significance. All of these combine to form the spirit which we are recognizing as that extra something which makes the Wichita Falls Senior High School unequalled. It is this spirit we have chosen for the theme.
