This group completes the duties in the offices of WFSH with the utmost speed and efficiency. Mrs. H. L. Bear is director of transcripts and of sales in the general office. Mrs. A. D. Neal performs each day the task of checking absentees and tardies. Miss Helen Grace Gould and Mr. A. D. Neal advise students about school work and college choices. These efforts keep the school running smoothly each day. Mrs. P. O. Parish, secretary to the principal, is in charge of ticket sales and accounts of WFSH. Mr. Curtis A. Siebenthall, besides training girls in proper office methods, is both coordinator of the WFSH film library and guid- ance counselor. OPPORTUNITIES AT HOME As you graduate from high school and prepare to enroll in college, it might be well for you to remember that the Wichita Falls area is still a land of vast opportunity. Rich resources and fine people make this an ideal place in which to achieve the goals in life that will bring the greatest security and happiness. The opportunities which you seek may not lie in some distant city, state or country: it is possible that they are right here. The two essentials covered, reading and writing, are the means by which anyone makes an impression on others. Through the study of literature the student becomes acquainted with great authors and their observa- tions on life itself. The cultures of this age and of past ages are pre- sented in various ways through magazine articles, book reports and the basic textbooks. ln studying grammar, the student has an opportu- nity to make his English of immediate practical value by its daily use.
