I O lt would be a dull life, indeed, here at Senior High School, if reading, writing and arithmetic were the only available courses. Today, many years since the doors were first opened in l924, new and varied types of studies are selected by the students. Even with these modern subjects, that tend to add color and value to our curriculum, school-life at WFHS would seem desolate if all clubs, councils, societies and other extracurricular activities were removed. Most students fail to realize what would be missed if suddenly these organiza- tions were gone, therefore those persons who make these activities possible are often left with little or no gratitude for their efforts. Because these faculty members have been neglected and seemingly overlooked for their direction of these activities and because the Staff feels that these teachers should be encouraged to continue devot- ing time so that all students may enjoy a fuller, richer high school life, we sincerely and gratefully dedicate this l953 Coyote to all sponsors of clubs, councils, societies, leagues, and publications, and particularly to our principal, Mr. O. T. Freeman, who has always worked as an adviser with each of the individual sponsors. l 5
