9 Affer a long illness cleafh came in December of I95O fo Mr. J. C. lvlafhis, a former social science feacher in Wichifa Falls Senior High School. Mr. lvlafhis, a faculfy member for many years, was a friend fo all. Ever sincerely inferesfed in fhe wel- fare of bofh feachers and sfudenfs. Mr. Mafhis gained many friends who will confinue fo miss him. Af a faculfy dinner honoring him af his refiremenf, Mr. Mafhis declared, lf I had my life fo go over. l should nof wanf fo live ofher fhan as l have- helping and feaching boys and girls. ln Augusf of I95O Senior High School losf Mr. J. W. Webb, long a feacher of commercial sub- iecfs af Wichifa Falls Senior High School. He 'raughf unfil fhe fime of his sudden and unexpecfed deafh. Mr. Webb was faifhful fo his dufies and loyal fo his friends. Always cheerful and pleasanf, he never crificized or complained. His friendly manner guided many sfudenfs fhrough fheir years in high school, and he will long be remembered grafefully.
