Instead, we have honored ten favor- ites who were drafted by the student body on the basis of their popularity. As anyone can see, they are physically fit, Class l-A specimens. Victory Belles-we salute youl Because of their ability as leaders in their classes and their pleasing personalities, certain stu- dents from the various classes were named as representatives. They are all good fellows and rank ace-high with their associates. We take pleasure in placing them in this very special section. In addition to our Victory Belles and our representatives, we pay tribute to a group of students, selected by the faculty and school, who have distinguished themselves in special fields. They represent different phases 'of school life and rate tops in their respective departments. Realizing that their loved ones must have arms and equipment with which to fight, students of WFSH have dug deeply into their pockets in order to buy that extra stamp or bond. Giving tirelessly, also, of all those little things that rank so high in the final tally, students and faculty members have helped in a small way to pave the way to ultimate Victory. Proudly smiling, each has gone about his work with determination to sacrifice and maintain a home-front worthy of our men and Women in the service of their country. Some of the stepping stones with which the road to Victory is paved and which students of WFSH have helped to construct are the following: Blue Printing and Drafting Collection of Keys A Ieep in Ianuary War Posters Model Airplanes Victory Corps Air Scouts Program of Physical Fitness Iunior WAACS Morale Boosters: Pre-Flight Study Band, A cappella Collection ci Scrap Orchestra Collection of Old Stockings Footlight Players War Bonds and Stamps X 'r' X -1. 1 fi -i Q aqffi ' fir 1 J 7.
