Art Under the direction of Miss Lois McGaughy and Miss Joyce Samuels, three years of art are offered to the students of WFSH. The courses are designed as a basis for the future work of art majors and as a training course in appreciation for those who do not plan to specialize in the art field. The courses include poster and art drawing in advertising, lettering, designing, figure drawing, modeling, painting, and block printing. General appreciation courses are offered in industrial designing, architecture, interior decorating, and painting. This department strives to co-operate with all the other departments in the making of posters, block prints, letter designs, and announcements. Students from the art depart- ment plan the layouts and work on the art division of the yearbook. Time Flies! ., fi ' it if ww' 'N Lois McGaughy, M. A. Where modeling is an art Joyce Samuels, M. A.
