Physics and Chemistry To the student, chemistry ceases to be a concoction of magic, bad odors, loud explosions and becomes an organized understanding of the basic principles of the common chemical changes which occur in a person's everyday life. ln a study of the sciences, many stu- dents get inspiration to train for the profession of doctor, nurse, or chemical engineer, in addition to this, they ob- tain a fuller understanding ol their en- vironment.
